It is often said that in today’s music industry, it takes a dream and $100,00 to break a new artist. But Maryville, MO, native Mitch Gallagher is proving that sometimes there is just no substitute for hard work. With a pair of Top 50 iTunes Country Albums, a Billboard Heatseekers charting album and more than 300,000 YouTube video views, Mitch recently took another huge step toward his dream by officially being accepted as a Recording Artist Member of the Country Music Association (CMA). The Country Music Association was founded in 1958 to unify and represent the genre of country music and is best known for its annual CMA awards show on National Television. Mitch is represented by Mike Miller Entertainment and recently performed at his first APCA event in Atlanta for the APCA National College Events Planning Conference.
